I hope you had the chance to relax and spend quality time with family and friends over the summer. As we begin a new school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the past year and express my sincere gratitude for your unwavering dedication to the students of McCall School. Your passion, commitment, and hard work continue to inspire and make a lasting impact.

I am incredibly proud of our Instructional Leadership Team and Instructional Coach for their dedication and commitment in conducting numerous interviews to ensure we bring the right individuals on board at McCall School. I truly appreciate the time and effort they invested—especially while balancing their own family responsibilities. We will introduce our many new staff members to you soon!

Please join me in congratulating Shannon Lindsey on her new role in Teaching & Learning at the district office! Shannon, along with Julia Davis, has done an outstanding job supporting many of the key tasks needed to prepare for the upcoming school year—all while also participating in summer school. Their hard work and leadership have been invaluable.

We are excited to welcome our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Sibi Bailey!!! She comes to us with great experience! Mrs. Bailey brings over 20 years of experience in education, having started her career as a special education teacher before transitioning into roles as an instructional coach and, most recently, an assistant principal in a K–2 building. She holds two master’s degrees—one in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Reading, and the other in Educational Leadership. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to equity, inclusive practices, and supporting the whole child. At the core of her leadership is a passion for building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.

Outside of her professional role, Mrs. Bailey is a proud wife and mother who enjoys staying active in the community. She is excited for the year ahead and looks forward to the opportunities and successes it will bring.

This year, our McCall theme is, “Building A Brighter Future - with Endless Possibilities”. Teachers are welcome to starting coming into to set up their classrooms on Monday, July 28th. Please maintain the clean hallways and classrooms. Scott worked really hard this summer to make sure everything was clean and beautiful for you.
