It’s hard to believe that we’re almost in April and only about 38 school days remain. What a truly unique year this has been! As we near the end of the school year, it’s a busy time filled with planning for the next one. We’re currently working on staffing, reviewing schedules, and beginning the class placement process. At the same time, we’re preparing for end-of-year activities.
Our 3rd-5th Grade students have completed their Math State Assessments and will be taking Reading and Science the week they return. Please ensure they are here. Thank you all for encouraging your child/children to do their best. It can be a very stressful time for both students and staff.
In terms of social-emotional development, we have made it a priority to support positive interactions and relationships among our students. This is reflected in efforts like our Tier I social-emotional support, the adoption of the Second Steps curriculum. We remain committed to reinforcing our PBIS Matrix (Respect Yourself ∙ Respect Others ∙ Respect Property) and deeply value our partnership with parents in helping instill these important values, both at school and in the wider community.
