Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer filled with fun, laughter, relaxation, and meaningful time with family and friends. As the new school year approaches, we are excited to welcome our McCall students back for another year of learning, growth, and success!
The first day of school is Monday, August 17, 2026. Before then, we invite all families to attend our McCall Meet & Greet on Friday, August 14, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teacher, drop off school supplies, explore the classroom,We look forward to seeing you there!

Daily School Schedule
8:45 a.m. – Breakfast begins. Students should not arrive before 8:40 a.m.
9:05 a.m. – Students enter classrooms.
9:15 a.m. – Instruction begins (tardy bell).
11:50 a.m.–1:00 p.m. – Lunch and recess (scheduled by grade level).
3:48 p.m. – Student dismissal.
To help ensure a safe, positive, and successful school year, we ask for your partnership in the following ways:
Prioritize attendance. Students should arrive on time, every day, unless they are ill or there is a family emergency. If your child will be absent, please notify both the school office and your child's teacher.
Encourage breakfast. A nutritious breakfast is available to all students free of charge each morning and helps prepare them for a successful day of learning.
Come prepared. Students should arrive each day wearing clean, appropriate clothing and bringing their backpack, fully charged Chromebook, school supplies, and any other necessary materials.
Stay engaged. Take a few minutes each day to ask your child about their learning, review homework, and celebrate their accomplishments.
Stay connected. We will share important updates through our monthly school newsletter. Be sure to follow McCall School on Facebook to stay informed about upcoming events, celebrations, and school news.
Late Start Wednesdays
McCall Elementary will continue to observe Late Start Wednesdays on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. On these days, school will begin at 11:05 a.m. Late Start provides teachers and staff dedicated time to collaborate, strengthen instructional practices, align learning to our district curriculum, and participate in professional learning—all of which directly benefits our students.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2026–2027!
Esperamos que estén disfrutando de un maravilloso verano lleno de diversión, risas, descanso y tiempo significativo con familiares y amigos. A medida que se acerca el nuevo año escolar, nos llena de entusiasmo dar la bienvenida nuevamente a nuestros estudiantes de McCall para otro año de aprendizaje, crecimiento y éxito.
El primer día de clases será el lunes 17 de agosto de 2026. Antes de esa fecha, invitamos a todas las familias a asistir a nuestro Conoce y Saluda el viernes 14 de agosto, de 5:00 a 6:00 p.m. Esta es una maravillosa oportunidad para conocer al maestro de su hijo(a), dejar los útiles escolares, explorar el salón de clases. ¡Esperamos verlos allí!

Horario diario de clases
8:45 a.m. – Comienza el desayuno. Los estudiantes no deben llegar antes de las 8:40 a.m.
9:05 a.m. – Los estudiantes ingresan a los salones de clase.
9:15 a.m. – Comienza la instrucción (timbre de tardanza).
11:50 a.m.–1:00 p.m. – Almuerzo y recreo (programado por nivel de grado).
3:48 p.m. – Salida de estudiantes.
Para garantizar un año escolar seguro, positivo y exitoso, solicitamos su colaboración en los siguientes aspectos:
Priorizar la asistencia. Los estudiantes deben llegar a tiempo todos los días, a menos que estén enfermos o exista una emergencia familiar. Si su hijo(a) estará ausente, por favor notifique tanto a la oficina de la escuela como al maestro(a).
Fomentar el desayuno. Cada mañana se ofrece un desayuno nutritivo gratuito para todos los estudiantes, lo cual los ayuda a prepararse para un día exitoso de aprendizaje.
Llegar preparados. Los estudiantes deben asistir cada día con ropa limpia y apropiada, su mochila, Chromebook completamente cargado, útiles escolares y cualquier otro material necesario.
Mantener la participación. Tómese unos minutos cada día para preguntar a su hijo(a) sobre su aprendizaje, revisar la tarea y celebrar sus logros.
Mantenerse conectados. Compartiremos información importante a través de nuestro boletín mensual escolar. Asegúrese de seguir a McCall School en Facebook para mantenerse informado sobre próximos eventos, celebraciones y noticias escolares.
Miércoles de inicio tardío
La Escuela Primaria McCall continuará observando los miércoles de inicio tardío el primer y tercer miércoles de cada mes. En estos días, la escuela comenzará a las 11:05 a.m. Este tiempo permite a los maestros y al personal colaborar, fortalecer las prácticas de enseñanza, alinear el aprendizaje con el currículo del distrito y participar en el desarrollo profesional, lo cual beneficia directamente a nuestros estudiantes.
