The Waukegan Public Schools Back-to-School Resource Fair returns on Saturday, July 25, and this year will be our largest event yet!
Join us from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at our new location, McCall Elementary School and Bevier Park, for free backpacks and school supplies, community resources, food trucks, a petting zoo, kids activities, haircuts, and more.

The first day of school is Monday, August 17, 2026. Before then, we invite all families to attend our McCall Meet & Greet on Friday, August 14, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teacher, drop off school supplies, explore the classroom. We look forward to seeing you there!

Antes de esa fecha, invitamos a todas las familias a asistir a nuestro Conoce y Saluda el viernes 14 de agosto, de 5:00 a 6:00 p.m. Esta es una maravillosa oportunidad para conocer al maestro de su hijo(a), dejar los útiles escolares, explorar el salón de clases. ¡Esperamos verlos allí!
